Sony Vaio India Unveils New Laptops for the Season 2011-2012 by John Wells
Sony Vaio has released a new range of laptops as part of its third annual marketing compaign. With Kareena Kapoor at the helm as Sony's brand ambassador, the company plans to sell about 5 lakh units this year with the ad compaign - 'More Style More Colour'.
Sony has apparently strengthened its portfolio by unleashing 62 variants of the Sony Vaio series available in 16 colours and textures. The new line up of Vaio series is classified into four major categories. The Vaio S - business series laptop which is available from Rs. 47, 990 to Rs. 1, 29, 000. The sleek & stylish Vaio C-series for the fashion conscious, which is priced between Rs. 54, 990 to Rs. 69, 990
The Sony Vaio E-series focused at students and professionals and comes with a lot of customization options with processors and colours for a price tag of Rs. 27,990. The fourth and final Y series is aimed at the novice computer user, which ships with the most budget friendly configuration. It has a starting price of just Rs. 24, 990.
