Since the dawning of Macintosh in 1984, the company never stopped in innovating new inventions and technological improvement. Every year they seem to astonish us with new technology. This year, Apple released their new innovation: the Apple iMac.
Apple iMac is a revolutionary all-in-one computer. The flawless aluminum enclosure that shows the seemingly bedazzling screen is already the home for the motherboard, the CPU, the speakers, and graphic cards. So much for the annoying octopus-like cords, Apple iMac has only one power cord to handle with. To impress you more, the keyboard and the mouse are wireless! Below are just some of its fascinating features.
Superbly High Definition Screen
The screen of Apple iMac is a gem. It is all glass from one end to the other and it is a really effective view in any side of the screen. It has 21.5 or a 27 inch configuration. It is high definition with a resolution of 1920 by 1080. The Apple iMac is also blessed with LED backlighting the same in our high definition TV's today. The 27-inch iMac, of course, has clearer resolution. With 2560 by 1440 resolution, high definition TV's would look lame.
Large and Upgradeable Memory
Apple iMac goes with an awesome 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor which can still be upgraded to 3.33GHz unit. It has a RAM memory of 4 GB that can be upgraded to 8 GB if you have the 21.5 inch screen. However, if you get the 27 inch, more power for the memory and the processor is given. The larger screen's memory is upgradable up to 16 GB.
Wireless Technology
If you are a Wi-Fi fanatic, the Apple iMac has a high speed wireless connection that can make things so simple in web browsing. It also comes with a Bluetooth connection. In Apple iMac, Bluetooth plays a significant role since the wireless keyboard and mouse depends on it.
The new wireless mouse of the Apple iMac is another innovation from the company. It is called as the Magic Mouse which is also called as the Multi-touch Mouse. The mouse is wireless and lacks buttons which is unique since the entire mouse is a button. It supports all gestures and it is can smooth scroll from left and right and up and down. The Thunderbolt and Other Ports
No desktop ever have this feature so fast. This new advancement in iMac lets you daisy-chain up to six devices and an additional display. The benefit of having the 27-inch iMac is that it has two Thunderbolt ports. An SD card slot is also present and very beneficial for photographers.
Webcam, CD/DVD Burner/Player, SD Card Slot
The iMac is also equipped with a webcam that allows you to have three simultaneous chats and a CD/DVD burner and player. Just see how much boredom and loneliness can Mac repair?
