The Apple iPhone 3G S 16GB is a class above all others by Alan Reed
The iPhone 3G S 16GB seems to have taken the world by storm. As with most Apple products, it comes with its own unique brand of styling and functionality, much of which is the reason for its overpowering appeal. This latest offering is well endowed with a raft of features all of which have the element of ingenuity encased within.
The phone has a 3.5 inch TFT capacitive touch screen which comfortably displays 16 million colours. The screen offers excellent colour reproduction, which is due to the inclusion of a dedicated graphics adapter known as the PowerVX MBX lite. As most will now know, the phone uses the multi touch method as its means of accessing functions whilst employing the benefits of an ambient light sensor, accelerometer sensor and proximity sensor to ensure complete customer satisfaction during the use of the handset.
The connectivity of the Apple iPhone 3G S 16GB is covered by GPRS, EDGE, USB and Blue tooth (headset support only) whilst the HSDPA and Wi-Fi connections offer internet access at speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. The multiple means of connections included within the phone ensures it is able to connect with numerous devices. The additional and useful feature of GPS comes with added A-GPS support and provides satellite navigation when required.
A 3.15 mega pixel camera is provided which operates at 2048 x 1536 pixels. The camera also provides auto focus as well as the ingenious touch focus as its means of focusing on the subject matter. Location reference is provided by the geo tagging feature. For those who prefer the medium of video, Video recording and playback is included within the package with the camera able to provide video at VGA quality and at 30 frames per second.
The iPhone 3G S 16GB has drawn many parallels with other handsets, however the fact remains that whilst the Apple logo appears on the unit, it will have a certain appeal. The brand is recognised as an innovative brand that have a tendency to think outside the box, as is evident with the range of products. This handset is popular for one reason, it gives the consumer exactly what they desire.
